It started as a simple nickname.
In 2017 Clayton King and Vicky Saye (Henderson) Van Horne performed a house concert at the home of Jim and Julia Prater in Columbia. Jim, ever the orator, introduced the duo and referred to them as King Henderson. The moniker stuck, and the rest is history in the making.

Clayton and Vicky have long believed that bringing people together through the arts should be a primary focus. After performing in local venues for two years before the COVID pandemic, the duo expanded to include a larger, growing roster of performers comprised of some of the Midlands’ most celebrated cabaret and theatrical singers. That was when The Monthly After Dinner Cabaret was born!
